Full salary will commence

from the doob braving myland 25th April 1892 44 A free passage second class with Railway fare

to Port of Embarkation shall be provided for the person () engaged and his wife to Hong Kong and on the expiration of his term of engagement the Government shall provide him and his wife with a free passage second class to England with Railway fare to destination provided his conduct shall have been outisfactory during his service and shall also pay to him half salary during the home occupied on the voyage

home and thereafter until he can be reabsorbed into the Trinity House, service provided such half pay leave does not exceed three months in all, and in the event of his being compelled

during the period of Three his resign appointment and return to England on account of illness not caused by any impropriety of conduct on his part and producing

a Certificat from the Colonial Surgeon to that effect he and his wife shall be provided with a free passage second class to England with Railway Fare to destination but of he should resign

his appointment from any other cause he shall refund to the Government or to the Crown Agents for the Colonies the amount paid for this passages to whit Colony. The return

The Government shall have power at time to terminate this Agreement upon giving to the person engaged three months notice in writing and providing him and his wife with a free passage home. –

If the person engaged shall at

neglect or refuse or from any cause (other than illness not caused by his own impropriety of conduct) become unable to perform or comply with all or any of the Articles of this Agreement or all or any of the duties required of him or all, or any of the Orders

directions of the Government or its representatives or shatt

correspond verbally or otherwise directly

any

or indirectly in or about the affairs of the Government, with

any person not in the employment of the Government or shall publish directly indirectly any document or information of any kind whatever affecting the Government or shall manner misconduct himself it shall be competent for the Government to declare his employment at an end and he shall be forthwith dismissed by the Government and all rights benefits and advantages reserved to hum by this agreement shall cease and he shall be liable to be called upon to repay the amount, paid for the passages of himself and wife to the Colony.

In the event of any pecuniary damage ariving from disregard or noncompliance by the pervin -engaged of any standing Order or Departmenkel instruction or from any neglect of duty whatsoever

If at time during the period of service the person engaged shall by indulgence stimulants or stimulant incapacitate
